I personally think the "clay pad" is a gimmick to make money. Most of us no when you clay, you DO NOT apply pressure. And you DO NOT use the clay like an eraser. You add A LOT of lubricant and glide/slide the clay across the surface with one or two fingers so it can pick up contaminants (spelling?)
Now just think, take the weight of your polisher and put that with/on clay...yea, you are gonna scratch. Then you have another job to do...removing swirl marks and scratches.
stick with the hand application. works every time but also remember...when you clay, most clay REMOVES wax, so you are gonna have to wax afterwards.
You don`t apply pressure? Have I been doing it wrong all this time?
