    I did the same thing with mine. Got some washers and a bolt from work. I mainly use my PC for 4" pads now. I use my Flex for the workhorse.

    If you are removing the handle (I personally recommend it) then a bolt or bolts on both sides are required.
    As stated above always make sure every backing plate has a Lake Country Compression Washer 5-Pack.

    I use my Flex & Rupes but I still do a lot of work using the PC and LC 5.5" flat foam pads or Megs mf discs.
    If I`ve learned anything from paint over the years it is that not any one thing is everything for everything.
    To this day my PC is a LOT more than small area correction or a wax spreader. It does correction very well!

    Make sure your unit has gear lube. A lot of these Made in China DA`s get shipped out dry as a bone

    I would use my PC more if it didn`t vibrate so much. The Flex is much smoother and works faster than the PC.
