    The New UDM Version 2

On Autopia, this was added the UDM thread without much fan fare. It appears that they are going to relabel the PC (essentially what Meg`s did with the G100) rather than release a new model.

I have a UDM and waiting for it to die since many have failed at least once. They have extended the warranty but we shall see if they repair future ones or send this as a replacement. If mine goes, I may just get something better like the Flex although I know nothing about it. Meg`s G110 would be like the UDM but maybe more reliable although they seemed to have the same problems in the first lot. I will not be upset if it fails except it will likely do it when I am in the middle of something.

Re: The New UDM Version 2

Since I was never too interested in the UDM, I really don`t know much about it. I thought it was basically a beefed up 7424/7336.
Does the change mean the the original UDM is being discontinued and replaced by the relabeled 7424?

It sure reads that way. The G110 is also a PC like product with a better motor.
