I also have a PC that I think I am going to buy a carpet brush for and use that for carpets/ tires / and want to try it out for deep cleaning all the exterior plastic trim on my equinox before putting in a trim restorer / coating...

I recommend scrubbing it with Griot`s Rubber Prep, my go-go for all (non-shiny, unpainted) exterior rubber and plastic trim.
