Well...I ended up finding an Adam swirl killer at a good deal. Should have it by Friday.
Also looked into the diavolo cordless 12v mini polisher kit. I have a offer in on Ebay on that one.
So if all that works out my polisher setup will then be
Adams swirl killer 15MM throw with 5” pads
PC with 3” pads
Diavolo mini for 1” and 2”
I also have a Meguiars DA power system for a drill that I’ve thought about using to apply sealants and such. But if anyone wants it I’ll trade it for some other detailing supplies
Still not convinced I don’t want to pick up a G8 and relegate the PC to some other purpose. I guess time will tell

Astouffer512- Ah, glad you came to a decision!
Just FWIW, there`s *ZERO* way I`d want to use the "drill setup" for much of anything, let alone LSPing a whole vehicle. IMO that`d be a good use for the PC if/when you get the G8, or...even if you don`t. It only takes a moment to switch the PC`s plate and IME there`s no need to change the counterweight.

There was a thread about the Chechnya Chinese da here a while ago. Great da great price. I bought their rotary and happy with their rotary. Light, powerful, smooth snd inexpensive. Buyers here also lke the DA
Wonder if their done with long throws or coming out with a new g15. With the other polishers they kept old one around. Probably hard to get rid off with new products.
Being geared towards consumers would make sense no long throws...

But why?
That`s something that makes zero sense to me. I can see most consumers not needing a 21mm throw, but a 15?
IMO plenty of consumers need exactly the same equipment as Pros, in all sorts of applications including Car Polishers. And that`s leaving aside the possibility of the G9s having issues.
Not in the sense that as consumers we need them but as they’re geared towards consumers. Most new to polishing are scared so they play it safe. Probably sell g9/gg6 10 to 1 vs the boss machines.
Griots doesn’t sell a ton of different products that do the same thing. Probable gonna go hard with the G8 and 9 combo vs a long throw.
Truth be told if i had this option when i bought my g15. I woulda went this way. Just wasnt a fan of the gg6

My guess is, there will be an update on these. The BOSS system was a huge investment for them. It makes more sense to have the long throws updated and made by the same manufacturer as the G8 and G9.
