Well, my GG6 just broke it`s spindle. It seems very skinny to turn that big weight. Anyway, does anybody have experience with the turnaround time for a repaired polisher? It quit on me at the worst time. Might get a HF to tide me over.

They usually don`t repair them--just send a new one so it should be pretty quick.
They have always sent me brand new polishers. Usually takes a couple weeks.
I`m surprised how depedent I am on that dang polisher, and I can`t believe I used to polish by hand!
Two weeks shipping plus a few weeks... Yeah might try that HF.
I think mine took about 2 weeks from the date it left my house to the date the new one arrived. It`s weird because you get no updates by email or anything. I was hoping to get something saying we received the unit and are looking at it, then another when they decided what they were going to do. Then another with a shipping notice with a tracking number. But if you call about a week after you send it in, the customer service people are able to give you the status.
I had returned another Griot`s item and it was replaced quickly.

Update: 2 weeks to the day, I have my replacement. Great service Griots!
