Hah, it`s taken a little longer then I expected. I`m working on paint correction now and I`m very anal. This black is very hard clear and I have a lot of little fine scratches.
I started tonight using the sf4000 and decided to go with the 400 as the 4000 was just a little too fine. The 400 was just what I needed to remove some certain fine scratches. I will get some pictures up once I get to that point. I`m a little sore and work is tomorrow. Good nite
Here is a little teaser.
Once I get her all done I will take outside pics to really show off the results.
I will have more time over the labor-day weekend to really have some fun..
Looking good so far.
Can`t wait to see finished product
Formerly the "Best Detailer", now just Super Wax Waster Man. Not necessarily tactful, but normally right. It`s good to be da King !!!
Can`t wait!
I will soon, next weekend will be a long weekend for me and I will rock N roll on the vette!!!!
LOL We`re all anxious to see. If he takes any longer I`m booking a flight to Texas to help him finish.
I did a black `98 Mercedes. Talk about hard clear coat. I used Flex 3401 with Megs D300 compound with 5" surbuf. Then used Megs 205 finishing polish. Got 85% correction. I had Megs 105 but didnt have time to use it. What other combo would get me better results?
I don`t mind buying more pads but I really don`t want to spend more money on compounds or polishes. Wool pad?
