    Any idea how the painted surfaces will hold up compared to just the plastic? Easier/harder to clean? Easier / harder to damage?

    driver door bezel polished out - 1000/3000, UC and 205....used my 3" griots - worked great...

    BTW, I love this 3000 grit paper with a foam back on it:
