who has used a car pro velvet pad?

    on orbital?
    on rotary?

    I have both...

I have a bit of orange peel on the Vette and a few have said to try this...the strongest polish i have is Menz FG400 so I`m gonna try a test spot on another car first

    opinions, experience and advice?

Use the rotary..they don`t work too well with a DA. Ive used the Velvet pads and honestly I like the Denim a lot better. The Velvet pads don`t have nearly as much cut as the Denim pads do, but naturally you want to go with the least aggressive method. If you don`t get the results your looking for from the Velvet, consider picking up a few Denim pads. FG400 should work fine with either one.

Agreed with FG400 and the rotary.. Start with the velvet, and if they aren`t working, move up to the denim. Keep the pressure light and the RPM in the mid range (1500 RPM).

Hope you have a paint gauge before using a denim pad and 400 with a rotary.
