    Flex 3401 lubrication

I`ve been using my Flex for a couple of months and I`ve seen some threads on lubricating the felt ring. I`ve not done that. Can someone help me tell me what exactly I need to do??
    Thanks

You use the supplied Allen wrench to remove the backing plate. Then take some "air tool" oil and apply it to the felt ring that is recessed into the housing. I simply apply a few drops all the way around and let it soak in. Then reply the backing plate and you are done. I don`t now that it is a must, but I do mine every month or so. I would rather be safe than sorry.
