M105 or D300 is my choice in compounds as I have yet to try M101 or FG400. But I hope to try these new compounds as well

I really like the new Menzerna FG400. I think, for a DA polisher, it is going to give very fast results and leave a pretty good finish. It is also very to use!

With a PC I like Poorboys SSR 2.5 cutting pad, then SSR1 with polishing pad.

I also love Presta line for heavy cutting it`s not one that a lot of people talk about, why I don`t know. Because it`s a go to for me when I have to get down to business!

With a PC I have had real good luck with the Megs D300, 5" backing plate and Megs 5" microfiber cutting discs

Unless you have compressed air handy you`ll need a Pinnacle Safe Scrub Bug & Tar Pad to keep the MF disc clean.

There are more aggressive products like M105 (cuts real well but not real friendly IMHO). I`d try the MF stuff first.

I`ve had good luck with the Surbuf R Series 5.5 Inch Buffing Pads 2 Pack and M105.

The Surbuf pads are more aggressive than the Megs microfiber system. It will cut using a PC!

Did I mention I hate cleaning up after M105?

For me I really liked D300 and MF pads. Then hit it with M205 with a tangerine HT pad.

    ^ Agreed

With either the Megs MF 5" cutting disc/D300 or the Surbuf/M105
Follow it with M205 and the Tangerine Ultra Polishing Foam 5 1/2 x 7/8 inch Pad for clarity and gloss.

You can try all the products that everyone has mention and get the results your looking for. IMO you can try M205 with Lake Country Hydro-Tech Low Profile 5 1/2 x 7/8 Inch Foam Pad ( tangerine )and get very good results that will blow you away. But it`s up to you on what you want to try and get also. Keep us all inform.

I`ve fixed some nasty nasty swirls using SRC Compound as well and finishes down really nice. Don`t know if it would work on a d/a though I use a rotary most the time.
