After reading Jsmooths review I was just about to order some but held off. Glad I did now, another couple of weeks isn`t going to matter for me. One good thing I`ve learned from the post is that thee are options to the pads used. I was thinking or was under the belief that you needed their pads to get the best results. Has anyone used it with a rotary or is a DA the way to go?
Also since we are on topic of 3D, Speed and Polish coming out at same time.
Anybody here were beta testers?
Is it wrong of me to not have much faith in a product that have 5 versions? I don`t know anything about it, but it doesn`t leave me feeling all warm and fuzzy inside when a comapny has to release 5 version of a product.
No Mark I follow 3D and their postings on Autopia .org . I do have the HD Uno that was given out at SEMA by Tunch Goren the owner of 3D. I have used the Uno I have from 11/12 but not enough to have a opinion so far. They did just release their new products this week and I will try them when time allows.
As for trusting a company that keeps coming out with newer versions , as long as it is improved and lives up to the hype , I have no problem.![]()

Companies can have different philosophy: continuous evolution or steady state.
A lot has to do with how close you are to users and the distribution method. For example, companies like Do Do just invent products when in the mood. Optimum and others get feedback and quickly roll out new technology. Companies like Meg`s have massive distribution, branding, education, etc. so cannot always update products every year except at consumer level.

Let`s back off and agree that we are all entitled to our own opinions even if we don`t share them with others. Civil discussion is one thing, but can we please keep it civil. This is not the forum for that.
I am proud of that fact that AutopiaForums allows open discussion on any product line and we allow (respectful) disagreements as long as they lead to open discussion.
Please help me help you keep AutopiaForums the way it is.
Thanks guys

Guess I didn`t see you ask that question, sorry. How long were the other products out before being revised the first time... a year or two maybe?
One thing I can assure you of is that I have at no point in this discussion been upset. I simply stated that I don`t agree with your opinion (and gave related examples) and asked you to explain why you feel the way you do out of pure curiosity, and got jumped for it.ONR is on version three and has been out longer than Uno which is on version 5. Again, I don`t know what your deal is, but I simpily stated my opnion and you got all upset.
Valid and true point; I chalk that up to the risk one takes in being an early adopter. Sometimes it pans out (ONR), sometimes it doesn`t (UNOv1). In the end as long as the product continues to improve I see no reason not to give it a fair shot as it goes through revisions based on consumer feedback. Also ONR worked great in it`s first version where I have read multiple acount of HD Uno v1 not working all that well.
No need to chill, I`m just stating how I feel about products that have been revised multiple times.Again, I`m not slamming a product since I haven`t even tried it, I was just stating how I felt about a product having 5 version. You are entitled to your opinion too, chill.
For the record I haven`t been much of a fan of UNO up to this point either (and yes, I have used it) and I`m also not a huge fan of the extreme claims 3D has made about this latest version being a "game changer" for the industry, but I also am open to the idea that they have made improvements that allow it to be a viable product. Only time will tell the tale.

I have UNO 3 and 4...very good polishes...very easy to remove. I can`t really tell the difference between the two. Some say UNO4 is easier to remove. I use a flat orange pad to cut and red HT pad to finish.
From reading, the new HD polishes are for finishing and the "next" UNO (v5 if you will) will cut better than earlier versions. HD calls them game changers (?? we`ll see).
I still go to my Menzernas mostly.
With the "new" line-up of 3D pads, they follow the color scheme of B&S pads. I`m wondering if they`re the exact same pads with HD stamped on them?
