    Re: Need pads

I bought a ton of 6.5" LC pads when I got my PC. I had 5 of each flavor. And I detail on the side and what do I use most? Orange pad with XMT#3. Now, I have rotary too, I use the yellow and orange with that, maybe a white pad once in a blue moon. But even for badly scratched up paint, I`ll use the rotary - yel or orange pad and some compound - Meg`s 84 or 83, then follow up with my PC. So what I`m trying to tell you is just buy 2 maybe 3 pads, cutting, light cut and polish. You`ll save more time doing any glazing and certainly applying a wax or sealer if you do it by hand. I`m going to see if I can trade or sell all those gray and blue pads. And yes, I`m going to be getting those 8" Edge pads for my rotary as soon as I can!

Junebug- just stick with the 6 inch Edge pads for rotary work. They are easier to control. On cars 8 inch pads are a bit big.
