    My first one step polish

Looking at starting my first one step polish tomorrow on my hellcat. This is my fourth time machine polishing a car but I have always used aio products. I`ll be using duragloss 111 as my lsp. My machine is a flex 3401 and my pad is going to be a white ccs foam pad. My hellcat has very light swirls barely noticeable on the b5 blue metallic paint but does have very faint water spots that just wont wipe off. My question is what product should I use for a one step. I have griots perfecting cream, meguiars m205, and 3d one. Ill be outside possibly in direct sunlight but it is suppose to be low humidity and high 70`s tommarow.

No chance you can avoid direct sunlight? I`d be starting as early as possible, so those panels do not get a chance to heat up

Either of those polishes will do just fine. You could essentially flip a coin and choose one. I have not used any of those in direct sun though.

Do you think I’d be better off using 3d speed? I have some left over I polished my truck in the spring with it in direct sunlight with no issues

Great choice on the duragloss it my favorite sealant very crisp look. Even with all the fancy new polishes I still like the 205 as a go to. I’d say use 3D one has most lube just chase shade by parking your car at different angles and get some old bathroom towels to put over the panel you have to polish next. Lay the towels on top of panels to block sun until you polish it will help keep your temps down and have at it!

I ended up using 3d one came out good four section passes. Only issues the sun gave me was during wipe off just seemed to smear more then it should. Letting the duragloss 111 haze then I’ll get some pics.
