I still use 205 and carpro essence these are the only one I’ll buy more than once compared to buy a bottle using it then moving on

Although Scholls brand has been the one brand to interest me most over last last year.

I have a few uro-tec pads as well. In my opinion they stack up against rupes and lake country. I like lake country SDO/HDO the best. Mostly do to the smaller face. And frankly i just like the colors more lol The SDO pad is relatively cheap as well. The HDO is actually more expensive then the rupes foam here in Canada but i will be picking up 1 orange HDO the spring to compare to the SDO.

The lake country people push the HDO for longthrows which i have. It definitely looks like a tougher pad then the SDO but i`ve use the orange SDO a lot already it stills looks new to me.

Lake country rates the orange SDO/HDO has having a 6/10 cut and 9/10 finish. Its a great pad for 1 step correction on my 2 Asians cars. I`ve used everything from gyeon primer (super light cut) no good for water stops to rupes DA fine, 3D one and even sonax cutmax. And a few others.

I really learnt to like rupes DA fine. But you really can`t just mindlessly do 4 or 5 passes. 3D one cuts more but its just a PITA to work with most times IME.

Last year i used rupes yellow foam with DA fine for 2 slow passes on my roof. Mirror finish. Quick polish. Easily removed the water spots.
