I had the same thoughts. People who have tried it probably see some sort of success as I`m sure a bit of the product survives being diluted with the water.
Beyond the questionable durability from being diluted with water, I`d have a hard time with the cost. Neither CanCoat or McKee`s are very cheap per volume for use as a drying aid or a frequent topper. I think something like ECH2O or any number of QD and spray sealants would be a much more economical product for a drying aid for a coated car.

Why not give her some PA? Saving it for yourself?

Maybe try to mix some Cancoat and water together to see if they are even compatible. See I’m trying. Lol
