RaskyR1- Given all the different pad/product combos you`ve tried, that GG recommendation got my attention!

It`s been my go to combo for 99% of the compounding I`ve done since December 2014. It has the right balance of the things that matter most to me. You may find others that cut more but at the trade off of dust, more severe DA haze, difficult wipe off, ect... One thing I learned during the development of the BOSS liquids with Jeff is that it always seems be a trade off when trying to tweak a compound/polish formula. You try to improve one attribute and it ends up throwing off one (or more) of the other attributes.

I like the finish & workably of WG uber using Boss m/f pads. Haven`t tried Griots FC thou.
Curious how this process went for you. I recently had the same issue with my Toyota 4Runner which i know i has soft thin paint which can be tricky to correct properly and without damage. My guess is others might be curious how we corrected our Japanese paint. Link removed. You may bring info to this site but you may not solicit Autopia members to your site.

Master Cut will do the job without dusting and a nice long working time ..sun or shade easy removal too I would do it in the sun so you can see what will be showing when it`s back in the real world
My thoughts exactly! You really should do a test spot first with a polish and a couple different pads before going to a compound.
I was able to do the correction in the picture below on a Honda with only a finishing polish and a normal, white, LC Flat polishing pad.
