    clearcoat blemish

hey guys iam making some carbon fiber car parts, iam using real carbon fiber and my mix is 3:1 west system 105/207 once dry 12 hrs, I have sanded with 240, then another coat, then sanded with 400 and final coat, let dry 24 hrs, then sprayed it with u-pol clear#1, I let it sit for 24 hrs but when I picked it up, my fingernail grabbed a corner and nicked into the clear, I have tried cutting it with meguiers heavy cut cleaner #4, but no dice,, SOOOOOOO can I sand this tiny area down with 2000 sandpaper to smooth it out then hit it with the meg, then a polish then a wax??? just not sure if I sand it out I can get the gloss back without shooting it again with clear.

After spraying a clear coat you have to wait 30 days for it to off gas before sealing it with a wax.

That`s the one. Thanks. I would try to wet sand it and then polish it out. All this is depending on how deep the indentation is.
