    New tool idea,maybe

Just got an idea, how about a microfiber cover (sleeve) for the cord on a PC or rotary to keep the cord from marring the paint. I`ve seen the windshield guys air knife had a nylon woven cover on the air hose, but still left some marks. Maybe someone makes this already, if they do let me know where I can get one. If not someone make one and sell them, all I ask for the use of my idea is to send me a couple.

I was thinking maybe about 3.5"wide X 4-5` long and a little Velcro on the seem. The people that make microfibers should have thin and long strips left over from manufacturing this would make good use of the waste. If anyone knows where I can get some long pieces of microfiber let me know.

I do not think microfiber will be best material..it will trap dirt and grit..and then you drag it on your paint....there were a few products out there that are simular to what you are trying to make...but they never became popular...

There is another one at http://www.dftowel.com/ordertowels.html. Bottom of page, it is called "Concours Cord Sockâ„¢".

I`ve used other products from them and like them a lot. Good customer service and quick turnaround time on shipping.

    Just my 2 cents worth...
