3m pads, anyone use them?

Alot of local shops sell the 3m pads, are they any good?

I have one 3M pad that I have had for years....Its one of there waffle face ones and is a compounding pad......I have never had a problem with it and have many uses on it.....So to answer your question yes they are good IMO

Are they good for the pc or a rotary. I have both but am really looking to see if they will work well on the pc. Thanks for the info. I`m thinking Megs polishing and finishing pads may be the way to go over 3M`s. Any thoughts on this?

Yep use them along with edge classic 8 inch foamies
Like the black polishing pad alot - does good work

I would say that go with what is the best price in your area....I have found that Megs pads are great but have had a few problems with them....Mainly the backing velcro coming loose.....Edge pads I have had no problems what`s so ever and the 3M I`ve not either...That being said I think that they are all pretty much the same in quality
