Optimum has a unique and very pronounced product synergy, how do you use it your advantage?

ONR is awesome! Use clay disc after the vehicle is clean, then clay, and you can wax after if needed. OptiSeal is as easy as can be.

The issue I`m struggling with is what QD and wash soap is best to use for Gloss Coat? Seems like optimums QD would last a week or two on the surface and until then the surface would have the attributes of the QD and not the coating. Maybe I`m overthinking it. For time being, I use Wolfgang and Prima spray products to maintain.

If you want to stay with optimum then these would probably good.

Optimum Car wash 32 ounce, Car Wash

Optimum Instant Detailer & Gloss Enhancer

CarPro Reset is another shampoo that was designed for coatings. I`ve used it on PBL and Ameriarmour without issues.

    CarPro Reset Intensive Car Shampoo

From time to time I will use Meguiar`s M34 on my personal vehicle that is coated.

The safest way to wash your Gloss-coated surface is with Optimum No Rinse. If you insist on using a soap use Instant Detailer as a drying aid/ towel lubricant to reduce marring inherent in drying with just water on the car. As for what QD to use over Gloss-Coat, You really do not need any. The coating will shed in no time whatever you put on it. Again if you are using the QD to compensate for lack of lubrication a soap and water wash provides VS an ONR wash the Optimum Instant Detailer and Gloss Enhancer is the obvious choice, not only because of the Optimum Synergy, but also because of the price and ease of use.

I use QDs as a drying aid and a way to remove post wash water spots. That`s it.

Optimim ID has tons of polymers leading me to believe that really any QD can be used as a drying aid.
