Re: Gloss-Coat, so much more then an "entry level" coating

Yvan, welcome aboard! I like the write-up on Gloss-Coat. And I own the product.

Are you an employee of OPT? Thanks.

How did you come up with $20 per application?

I would consider a Ford Fusion an average sized vehicle.

The only size available on Autopia is 10cc....$59.99 before Shipping

The comments are appropriate in this sub-forum. That said, Yvan it might be a good idea if you were to add a title under your username. Stopping in and introducing yourself would also be nice for those that don`t yet know you.

It`s also available as a 20cc syringe for $99 that will cover 4-5 cars. While not listed in the Autopia store it is available to them, and if there is demand I am sure they can add it to the store.

I did a two-door couple with 4-5cc of GC on my first ever try applying a coating. Used the blue applicator pad (with ends cut off to make it a rectangle) too. So it depends what you consider to be an average car. Suspect I could do something like a BMW 3-series in 5cc, but would feel nervous about getting two full coats out of the 10cc syringe.

The recommendation of 4-6cc for an average car mentioned by Ivan above is probably accurate.
