    I also have a sap problem. What would rubbing alcohol do to finish, wax?



    Should the alcohol be diluted in water?l

    believe it or not, a few dabs of rainx works very well.

    I would do a 50/50 mix of water and rubbing alcohol. Anything stronger isnt too good for the paint. Claying should be done. I would prolly use the rubbing alchohol mix then clay the car afterwards.

    Just wanted to add some new info to an old thread.



    I use Pro Car Beauty Products "Tree Sap Remover" with great success. No blending or guess work. Great results every use!

    Also vegetable shortening (crisco) and WD-40 also work.

    Ardex`s sap remover works well.
