Hey,
This looks like a great site. I`m looking for a detailer in the New Haven - Bridgeport area who does Zaino detailing.
Thanks,
Andrew

Nobody`s rocking Zaino in these parts??? Man, you guys are missing out on some great products.

Andrew, zaino products are very simple to use, if you have no luck finding a detailer don`t be afraid to tackle it yourself! Its really rewarding to stand back and look at something you`ve accomplished yourself.
IMHO Zano was good and other products have moved in and are as good or better with less steps and coats.
There`s not any steps to Zaino and you don`t need to layer their sealants. I`d put Z2/Z6/Z7/Z8/Z16 up against anything on the market in a comparison. I really think alot of their stuff is way ahead of their time. Just my opinion.

That said, there are several of the products in Zaino`s line that I used to use quite often that have been replaced by stuff I like better.

I agree that Zaino is still great stuff and totally user friendly and simple to use now. Just order on the website and do it yourself. Good luck!

I agree, some great product but these days its just as easy to order the DG equivalent to your local carquest. David`s right though, the steps are overblown. You can put Z2 on top of clean paint with no issues and still get great durability. No need for ZFX or ZAIO. But if you want the Zaino look without any fuss, DG105+AW...done.
Andrew,
There are 2 mobile detailers that I know of on this site.
EcoAutoCT (Enfield) and ExplicitDetails (was Newington but moved to New Haven area).
Don`t know if they do Zaino but I would contact them via private mail and ask.
I hear some folks talk about the complexity of Zaino’s products or ”system”. The way I see it (from my own past experience), it’s only as complicated or involved as you wish to make it. You don’t have to use all of the products from his line and certainly don’t need to apply layer upon layer of product(s). I’ve also run across a number of “enthusiastic” supporters who describe their own process (usually way more complex than it needs to be IMO) which serves to fuel the arguments of skeptics and can confuse new users. ….who (in some cases) end up buying a bunch of products from Zaino’s website and then try to use them all in one session in some sort of odd, multi-layered combination.
I recently helped a fellow member on another forum with this exact type of problem. He was confused and discouraged but I could see he was making the process way more difficult than it needed to be. After some discussion and helpful links, he had a better understanding of how these various products worked and how they might fit best into his long term regimen.
But...but...but.... I thought 30+ layers look better than one???? Bwahahahah. The Corvette forum is full of the type. Convinced each layer adds more. The only thing I`ve seen that actually seems to layer is KSG, and after about three layers, you are done.

Ask Mark from Heavenly Details, didn`t he do like 50 layers in 50 days?
