Pothole Damage New York State

Does anyone know how to get NY State to pay for pothole damage? It occurred on the LIE (I-495)

Is it the one going eastbound on the middlelane, about a mile after u get on at greenpoint ave?

haha nope it didnt happen in queens, it was in nassau county

i believe unless the pothole has already been reported and on their list then you cant collect from nyc....if i remember they said they cant be held responsible for what they arent aware of
