I`m visiting NYC in January and with the dollar so cheap I was thinking about getting some detailing supplies. So are there any good stores in NYC (I will be living on park ave/64th)? The only ones I can think of is Autozone but there has got to be something else.

I don`t know about in NYC but while you are in the states why not make an online/over the phone purchase seen how you have an american address to send it to?

I already have some items sent to my cousin that I will be staying with, but I just dont feel right using her apartment as a storage facility. Besides I look forward to just walk around an american auto store and see what they offer :dance

So far I have Autozone and Strauss Auto, more ideas are always welcome!

Which supplies are you looking for?

NYC isn`t a good place to get them at all.

Pretty much anything to be honest

I do realise the city isnt the best place for detailing supplies but I hope I will find something good, perhaps something not available here in Sweden.

NYC is known as a city of people who don`t drive, much less don`t own cars! Stores in NJ are not far such as in Jersey City, Hoboken, Secaucus, etc. and are very close to mid town Manhattan.

exactly what I was thinking. S&H from jersey to nyc would be relatively cheap depending on the size of the order.

Mail order / internet, the only way to save money. Because there is nothing really around here

Been there already, but thanks anyway

All I got locally were some Meguiars Interior Quick Detailing spray, had already ordered the rest from pakshak, so I was good to go.
