I have a Black VW and she is my baby. However, I am nerotic about scratches and swirls etc. (I know maybe a black car was not the best choice). Every detailer I bring it to does an OK job. But just doesn`t seem to get the swirls out or the minor (did not hit the primer) scratches out. I am getting so frustrated, Anyone have any advice??? I need a detailer that is as nerotic and perfectionist as me.

    I am in Brooklyn, NY.

I would have to post a pic later, I am at work right now.

The detailers I brought my car to were not single owned shops. I guess more commercial.

I know, Brooklyn is BAD. I scream everytime someone bumps my bumper, or if i get hit with rock salt. My car is only alittle over a year old but I was never even happy with the detailing that the dealer did to my car when I bought it. When I picked up the car it had streaks in it, so I asked them to detail it again. Then it had swirls, so I just gave up, and I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO FIX IT EVER SINCE.

I can do a prety good wax job myself but I don`t know how to get the scratches and swirls out. I would be wiling to pay, I just want it done right and to my standards!!!! I don`t think I am asking for much

    This is the place.

    These are the people.

No swirls. Direct sun shots on a solid black car.

Strange, the pics wont show up. Only links.

You guys were right. :grinno: I found someone that was willing to detail my car (to my specifications-from this site). Sorry I was unable to post pictures (I recently got back from Florida and my camera was on the fritz).

Question?? Why did you ask if the person I sent my car to was a commercial business or independent?? Is there a difference?
