    A Motley Fool Says Hi!

A member on The Motley Fool`s "Buying and Maintaining A Car" discussion board referred me to Detail City this morning. I am awed by the enormous amount of information being shared by everyone on how to make and keep a car shiny.

I just bought a 2004 Mercury Grand Marquis, my first new car in 17 years (when I bought a 1988 GrMq), and suddenly, I realized that I don`t have a CLUE as to how to keep my ride from getting swirl marks, dull paint, and the like. So I wrote for help on TMF, and now here I am.

I want to try ALL of the recommended products, but I don`t have THAT much money. :ticked Still, I`ve got to buy everything from buckets to brushes, and I`ll settle in on the right choices with help from the members here.
