    Yep, I`m a Newb

wassup ya`ll? I am looking forward to gaining some valuable knowledge of detailing.

I have a 2003 Black Silverado. I am going to clay it soon since I can feel alot of stuff on the hood.

I have some Megs cleaner carnuba wax here at the house. I am thinking of getting some SSR2 and PP. Would this work ok with the wax I already have. Any suggestions for another polish?

If anyone knows of a good but not too high priced detail service in or around Houston let me know.

    Thanks in advance.

    Welcome to the DC .:welcome
You`ll like Poorboys products . SSR2 in fine if you have swirl marks , if the marks are light you probably can get by using SSR1 . Followed up by PP then topped of with EX (depending if you want a sealent with a Carnuba topper)or EX-P (pure sealant) Good luck

    Welcome to DC.

I am sure that a lot of people, me included, will tell you to use clay to get rid of the contamination you can feel by hand. This is good advice.

    Everything else like rollman said.

would SSRx ----> PwC also do the trick instead of using PP then EX?

what is the line between using SSR1 and SSR2? if someone has a pic for illustration that would be great.
