    Water Spot Blues

I have jet black 2007 BMW 550i. Recently it suffered some punishment from recent rains, resulting in unsightly water spots which are mainly on the hood. I washed it three times using Meguiars Ultimate Car Wash. I also used a 50/50 water & vinegar solution applied to the hood use a spray bottle. I then wiped it with little success. I also Compounded it using Meguiars Ultimate Compound. The spots are still present, less visible, but still present. Any suggestions on how to correct this paint defect?

Since you already tried compound and it didn`t fully take care of it, I think y need to go stronger on the compounding.

How did you use the compound? Pad? Polisher?

You may need to be more agressive with the pad or polish.
