Just traded my 2006 f350 diesel crewcab,longbed,dually for a 2012 gmc sierra 2500HD I know a big down grade but the problems with the diesel just got out of hand.I live in Rhode Island,Fleet Mechanic for Verizon Communications.I really want to keep my truck looking new inside and out.I have no experience with buffing out paint. I just wash once a week and wax every 6 months.I want to bring it to the next level.JoeB

There are some great articles on here. Just do some reading and you will have a better understanding. If you use proper wash technique you`ll be thankful. It will save the paint from a lot of swirls and scratches.

Merlin my truck is fire red,how the hell do you get your hood so nice is wish I could do that.Im going to wash it for the first time saturday,then wax I dont know about claying it yet.
