What speed should the PC be run?

Does it vary by product being applied?

    Inquiring minds want to know.

For a polish like 3M SMR, I start at 2.5 to 3 and as the paint starts to buff out I run it up to 4 or 4.5.

For waxing there`s no need to run it above 2.0

There should be no reason to run the PC above 5.

    New From New Jersey

Just wanted to take a minute to introduce myself to the forum.

I follow Bimmerfest and after reading some of the posts from Angelo & Todd, it led me to TID as another good source of detailing advice.

I purchased a PC 7424XP at the end of last year. Ever since, I`ve been on the lookout for the best products, tips and techniques to make the job easier.

    Thanks for listening!
