Lately it`s been "Chrome" by Trace Adkins .

Awesome driving on the NJ Turnpike at 0500 hours this past Sunday. What are some of your favorite driving tunes?

Remember Don Johnson in Miami Vice in the late 80`s ..letting his Ferrari breathe a little to some of the days most intense songs.

It depends on what kind of mood i`m in.

It`s usually, smashing pumpkins, techno, weezer, etc.

But If i`m angry then some deftones, rage against the machine, system of a down, sevendust.

If i`m really pissed then some slipknot.

I also like driving to Metalica and Rush...

at night on the open road.

For long drives, sometimes I pop in my cd from the two racing games "Need for Speed III" and Need for Speed IV." On my "to drive to" Cd I have some of Sting, Need for Speed, Gone in 60 Seconds ("lowrider"), a few selected techno songs and a few rock songs. All depends on my mood on how looooong the drive is going to be.

Also, most of the soundtrack for Gone in 60 Seconds is great.

Songs really set my driving style. For instance, when listening to something really heavy, I drive in a maniacal style.

I wrote my first car off while driving like an idiot whilst listening to Rob Zombie`s "Dragula" (the hot rod remix). The funny thing is, after flipping in the air and landing back on the ground, the CD player started back up. Kind of confused me and I forgot that I just crashed. I tried to put it in reverse, and then I realised that the shifter wasn`t connected to anything, and I couldn`t push the clutch cause the floorboards were pushed up into the pedals. "Oh yea, I just crashed, that`s why my car is in the ditch and the wheels are still on the road"

I like Linkin Park`s "In The End". Another song that always puts a smile on my face while driving spiritedly, is The Smashing Pumpkin`s "Today". Okay, maybe it`s the Alfa that`s making me smile, but the song is good too.

    a) I have let off some rips to "Maria" by Ricky Martin and some fast Gospel tracks.

    b) However, the one song I am seriously known to cut loose on is "Watch It" by Robert Armani. Technically, this is a house track and I have had the Maxima seeing the other side of 100 off of it.

    c) Minor PrinzII fact: I worked with a DJ for a while and picked up a few things here and there.

    d) Highway Driving:

(YoSteve might know something about these songs)

Your Love is So Divine - Miranda

    Round and Round - Miranda

    Grace of God - Machine

    Blue - Eiffel 65

    Our Darkness - Anne Clarke

Can`t you see - Vicious Pink

    Blue Monday - New Order

Me The Mailman - Six Bells All

As a kid, I got exposed to a wide variety of music. I used to wake up listening to a lot of classic rock and old R&B. Then with me working with (and at some points as) a DJ, my tastes in music expanded.
