Who ever sings that "whoo hoo" song is cool. I think it might be a newly popular bands first song, but it`s on a sound track of the Sci-fi movie of Starship Troopers.

To bad house music isn`t circulated around the rest of the country, when it peaked.

For some reason I keep listening to a lot of, "Baby Got Back" in my car lately
    Pay Attention Klasse!

A 1978 Firebird had an 8-track. Favorite songs for driving as a senior in H.S. with an 8-track.....

    1) The Cars ... Since your gone

    2) Jackson Browne... running on empty

And as an 18 year old at the time I was always running on empty!!! Ahh the memories!!!

Sometimes when I`m all alone... I whip out the old AC/DC High Voltage from my high school days. Heck with three kids at home the only time I really get to rock and roll is while I`m driving. Oh yeah I gotta make sure the V1 is on if I`m listening to this. :xyxthumbs

I wonder if there are any 8-track recorders out there, much less players.

But seriously, I did record an old mix (circa 1987) onto an 8 Track for grins. I think I still have it somewhere at home.

Dire Straits is pretty cool. I like Money For Nothing, but for driving, I like Walk of Life.

I agree that Crazy Train is a good Spirited Driving Song. Another one that I have used to lay some smoke is "Message in a Bottle" by the Police. I had a Maxima doing 115 off of that.

I now like to listen to a bit of jazz or Big Band music, helps me chill and keeps the speed down or every now and then some Pogues (Irish folk/punk).

You strike me as someone that doesnt always obey the speed limit.

P.S. My brother-in-law is a Rollins Band junkie. Pretty intense stuff.

I decided to take a short drive on I-80. For once, I did not listen to my "norm" but I decided to let the local Jazz station play.
