Then find a craftsman who works with wood finishes.

Let him do the repair and reinstall the part.

    Cool Hey from Alberta.

    Hey everyone... nice site.

I have been detailing cars and trucks for the last three years at the local Ford dealership. I like what I do and I am looking to hone my skills some more.

Hey, another big welcome to you ndm1973! Maybe you can help me figure out Ford paint?!

You`ve found a great site for info, just plain comradery and even chuckles at times.

Hahaha Ford paint... can be tricky from my own experience. Plus can`t really do exceptional job on old paint as the dealership owners are eager to sell the car/truck "as is" most of the time. Just the same, it is worth looking into just for my own knowledge. I will see what I can do.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome.
