Re: Hello from Autopia HQ!
Hey Will, Great to have you. Obviously my name is Dave. Retired at a very young age. I`m a hobbiest, well started out that way, just finished two cars this week and have four more waiting. I think I`ve had that combo in my cart 10 times over the years, just never pulled the trigger on it. Looking for a new look now that show season is here.
Re: Hello from Autopia HQ!
Hi Will welcome,
My name is Ken and I am retired military, like others I am a weekend warrior. Hopefully between you and Liz you can bring back some of the spark back to this forum and maybe an updated forum page :)
Re: Hello from Autopia HQ!
Hello Will,
I am a worker bee, and only detail the family cars. It`s a hobby for me. That`s a nice offer, I will pass since I have it on my shelf along with too much other stuff..
Re: Hello from Autopia HQ!

Hi Will. I am Joe. Detailing cars sense I have been a kid. I am a janitor at my full time job and a car washer for ups at night. Also a Deacon in my church. Love this site. Learned a lot by being here. Thanks for the contest and good luck with the new job

Re: Hello from Autopia HQ!
Hi Will! Mike here, been a member of Autopia/Detail City forums for many years, and attended my 7th Detail Fest last month. I detail on the side - everything from soccer mom mini-vans to pre-war race cars.
Re: Hello from Autopia HQ!
Hi Will. Paul here, I work for the best cell phone carrier across the us, and I run my own part time business detailing. I will pass on the give away as I have the original version still and don’t use it a whole lot even though it’s amazing

Re: Hello from Autopia HQ!
Great thread!
I`m Nathan. Auto enthusiast of the highest order and a weekend hack detailer who keeps up family vehicles. I call it therapy, my wife call it "getting out of the house and doing something productive". I work full time in the government IT industry and am setting things in motion to retire from part time military service. Shedding the second career/job will give me much more time to get deeper in the detailing hobby and maybe pick up a few neighbors as paying customers.
Late edit: I`ve got a black MK6 GTI which I`m sure would look amazing after a Blackfire "spa treatment".
Re: Hello from Autopia HQ!
Hey Will, welcome! I`m a front-end web developer by trade and a detail hobbyist in my spare time. I`ve lurked on this forum and AGO for several years now learning and listening from the members. I mostly detail on the weekends when I can get some spare time away from the wife and kids. I`ve always loved the BlackFire line, especially the ease of use of Crystal Seal and Midnight Sun Spray Wax. It`s my go to combo for a great look since I`m always tight on time (it`s going to be a sad day when my Crystal Seals runs out).

Feel the same way about the Crystal Seal. I keep watching their updated line up as they add items but I’m afraid we’re hosed. I’ve had recommendations saying both McKee’s 37 and Wolfgang’s wipe on, walk away products are much the same as Crystal Seal but haven’t tried them yet. Until now I’ve never had a need to go looking. I have two bottles of Crystal Seal yet to use, the search will then begin. ;)
