I`m baaaaaaaaaack!!

I, like another recent poster, initially joined in 2004 after buying a black G35. Of course I joined because the paint was so bad on that thing that you needed to become a very good detailer just to keep the car looking decent. I managed to keep that car for many years until it met an unfortunate end with over 220k miles on it. Thanks to everything I learned here, it actually still managed to make people complement it.

Anyway...

I had a 2013 Mercedes C300 (white) that had paint like a tank. Nothing bothered it. I actually (gasp!) went through automatic TOUCH carwashes and didn`t have to worry. So, I had no real reason to return here.

But now, I have left the safety of white Mercedes paint and have returned to Infiniti paint having recently purchased a 2017 Q60 3.0T Premium with Majestic White paint. Basically a pearl type metallic finish. And now I`m worried about paint again. If anyone has any warnings or reassurances regarding the paint, please feel free to chime in.

I finally wanted to say that I was doing a few searches before posting this and I am glad to see that Accumulator is still around. I remember many great posts and always looked to see what he was up to. Glad to see he is doing well.
