    Old newb from CT

I am getting back into car cleaning after a few years of being lazy.

Wife has a new Subaru and I am ready to pull the trigger on a 2018 Mustang GT when they come out. (Possibly black!)

I have been catching up on all the new products, took advantage of recent sales and purchased hundreds of dollars of product and dusted off my trusty PC 2724 polisher.

Cleaning up the garage and waiting for the new Mustangs to hit the floor.

Been reading and buying...reading and buying!

Welcome... I`m guessing it`s been a few years since you`ve had a black car, and not remembering just how much work they really are. That was the situation when I bought mine. No color more beautiful...when they`re clean.

Welcome from Farmington! I hate that we can`t do good detailing for 4 months out of the year!

But I still buy lots of stuff for the spring...
    2021 Acura RDX, Pearl Red
2022 Cadillac CT-4V Blackwing, Blaze Orange
    2022 Mazda MX-5, Snowflake White

I have had black cars in the past and know what they are all about. (Nothing beats them when clean though!)

The Mustang will be garaged and not driven in winter as they really suck compared to a 4X4 and a Subaru with 4 winter tires.
I`m a bit older (56) and have time to detail and I will represent black cars correctly!

    Close second is a metallic gray...also a cool color on a `stang.

My first choice for my Camaro was Nightfall Gray. Ended up finding this Mosaic Black on a dealers lot and loved it so that`s what I got. Actually this is the replacement, they had to replace the first one.
I`ve always liked Mustangs. Looked at a Mustang, Challenger, and Camaro in 2010. If they hadn`t been going back to the 5.0 I may have bought one. It would have killed the resale on the 4.6. Challenger I liked but the salesman was a flake, never even got a price out of him. Bought the Camaro. When I bought this one the SS just had so much to offer I couldn`t resist. I`m 54 and have owned a couple black cars in the past. I have time to make it look great too...it just takes so much time!! lol
