Hi! My name is (what?) My name is (who?) My name is Waxmaster...

Hello all, I`ve been detailing cars for 28+ years. I started off with a Cyclo and Meguiar`s #6 and then #2, 9 and 26 back in the late 80`s. Those products worked for me for many years. Today, I have quite an assortment of tools and product. Talk to you soon!

Waxmaster- Welcome to Autopia! You caught my attention with your mention of the Cyclo..thought was about the only guy here who uses one. My older one dates to the (early) `80s too

Hi Accumulator, funny story, I bought my Cyclo new in 1990 for about $240. I sold it on eBay a few months ago because I have a Flex 3401 and PE-8, a Rupes 15 MKII and Mini, and a V2 GG6 and a V3 GG6. Well, low and behold Autopia was selling a few on eBay and I grabbed another one.....

Waxmaster- Heh heh, sounds like you`re pretty well set when it comes to polishers

And yeah...used Cyclos are often on ebay, and that`s one tool I wouldn`t hesitate to buy used, even *very* used...they just never die and rebuilds oughta be cheap anyhow. Plus, the guys at Cyclotoolmakers were always great to do business with, and I`d expect the same now that Rupes owns them.

512Detail- While the Cyclo doesn`t accommodate certain panel contours, I simply love mine for by-machine LSPing, and for buffing the LSP off with MF bonnets. Regulars here know that using polishers is not my idea of fun, but running the Cyclos can come close.
