Great forum, and I am reading madly lots of your current and past threads. Recognize more than a few names from Stingray Corvette Forum. Hello friends.

Like the industry, been evolving with my detailing preferences. Learned a huge amount by watching a pro detailer do my 2015 Z06 with CQuartz Finest. Had no idea how much prep and paint correction work a brand new car took. Paid him over $2,000 for what he did, and it was 100% worth it. His improvement to the factory paint job was unbelievable.

As for those who complain about what they have paid to professionals, my response is, have you any idea of the many steps and tons of hours that went into your car`s detailing. Almost all of the complainers haven`t a clue, nor do they consider the costs of the materials consumed in doing their car.

And what I learned watching my pro work, for me to now apply to future vehicles, was just as valuable. Going to "go brave" and detail my upcoming WRX daily driver myself, from first wash (dealer knows "NOT to touch it"), right through including the final coating. Fun to learn, and thanks to all you smart folks here for helping to me do just that.

Where abouts do you live ?

I spent 11 years there in Bellevue, (Newport Shores) and then in Issaquah...

Glad you had a positive experience with the Detail of that beautiful Corvette !!!
And yes, it does take a lot of hours to Detail to that level...

We are a happy, well adjusted bunch here - and are always ready to help a fellow Detailer out !
