I am about to dive in at the deep end with my turquoise blue Porsche 993 with the glass targa top. I will use a PC 7424XP and plan to do the following:
Wash using dish soap.
Clay bar - glass, paint and rims.
Question: should I wash the car again after claying it? Or rinse it with a mixture of alcohol & water?
I have M105, but I suspect my paint may be too soft and/or the damage is not so bad that I need it, in which case I`ll use Sonus SXF-1 and finish with M205, which I will also use on the glass.
I`ll wipe the entire car down with a mixture of alcohol & water before sealing with Sonax Polymer New Shield.
Should I M205 the glass top first, and if so, should I wash/rinse the car to remove any glass debris before addressing the paintwork?
Does anyone know if it`s okay to use the Sonax Polymer New Shield on glass?
I`m looking forward to seeing how it comes out. I will try to remember to post some before & after photos.
All comments and advice will be appreciated!
