use a coating on metal exhaust?

I have a new scooter exhaust I would like to treat. I can get the satin finish nice and clean with my orbital and Borla exhaust metal polish, but then I want to seal it. Can you use CQUARTZUK on it? Will it hold up to temp?

    thanks

I used UK on my vette exhaust.

It does seem to brown a bit from heat, but then seems to wipe clear.

So really I dunno. Wait for someone else to chime in

Max Protect Ultimate Nano Coat v3 is claimed to be heat resistant up to 1200C and is specified for use on bare metal. You`d have to direct import it from the UK but the last time I checked their shipping was very reasonable.

I have had good success with Pinnacle Black Label Diamond Surface Coating. I have used it on wheels and my exhaust. Very easy to use as well.

I have used opticoat 2.0, 22ple and Exo on exhaust tips. None make it a hose off job but I use a metal polish and it cleans up easy. Polishes used are never dull, optimum metal and polish angel palladium.

Have you tried White Diamond Metal Polish and Sealant, it is OTC at Advanced Auto. I used it on my polished mufflers tips so far so good

I have 22ple on my exhaust tips. They have been polished so much since, I am not even sure it is still there.

White diamond is an amazing metal polish. I never used it for having a sealant but it`s fantastic on polished metal.
