I have a bike (BMW GS, `95) and while I like the idea of cross laced spokes for tubeless tires-the spoke is attached to the -outward- area of the rim PAST the tire bead- keeping the chrome on the spokes and the surface on the untreated aluminum rims has always been a pain.

Is there a source for bobs on say, a 6-8" shaft that I can chuck into a drill? does anyone have suggestions to make this unpleasant task any easier-doin the Gap for the 5th time at the end of May

I think anyone who has done the Dragon will agree that the road is now a very dangerous place but it is the equivalent of a motorcycle black hole and will suck you in- even a Boss Hoss hasn`t the torque to offset the pull.

We know better and still cannot resist.
