I recently purchased a naked bike (Triumph Street Triple R) and I`m in need of a good, safe cleaner I can spray on before washing to get most of the bugs/tar/dirt off. `I`ve always used Simple Green diluted as my cleaner of choice but I worry about the anodized and aluminum parts on this bike. `Any recommendations for an APC for this application that I can buy in gallons? Blackfire? Optimum?`

I`d never use Simple Green on a bike.` In fact, I`d only use Simple Green for cleaning the garage floor, etc.

Don`t know about purchasing products by the gallon that would be appropriate, but look at a product like S100 cycle cleaner (P21S family) or something like HD Total.

Again, never use something like Simple Green on a vehicle you like.

Simple green does make a aluminum safe APC called simple green Pro HD.` It`s purple and can be found at Home depot.` I have not used it personally but plan on picking some up soon.` It`s been highly recommended on several motorcycle forums.` The product I do like to use when cleaning my bike is Wizards bike wash,` sprays out kinda like a foam and does a good job at getting most of the grime off the bike with minimal scrubbing.
