flex 3401 & rv`s & boats

been detailing cars for a few months now part time. just got a flex 3401 for the extra power. starting to get request do do exterior work on boats and rv`s. not ever doing them before, was wandering if they are just like cars. can i use the same process, and is the flex enough of a machine to get out moderate to servre oxidation like i sometimesee on rv`s
