What is that hard brown crusty stuff that forms on the hull from the water line down? I`ve heard that it`s alge that`s hardend or zebra muscels attached to the hull, but whatever it is how do you get it off? The best thing I`ve found is wet sanding with 600 grit discs, but it`s a very slow and tedious process. Any other ideas?

make up a water and muriatic acid solution 3:1 and spray it on, if it bubbles its water water mixed with other crap.
