Thread: Boat waxing

    Have a boat with some oops!! got a little close to the dock scratches and some yellow bollard paint as well. What kind of cleaner wax do you recommend for the job? and how about some tips to it`s use.

    The paint transfers will most likely come right off with a little acetone. As for the deeper scratches you might have to wet sand them out and finish by buffing out the sand scars. I generally like to use the 3M line of marine waxes and cleaner waxes. Top it all off with Megs Fleetwax.
