Just like it says in the title. My bike has wire wheels from Yamaha and the wheels have some sort of protective coating on them. I have seen posts on Vstar forums of guying screwing up this coating with some wheel cleaners. Looking for something that will help me keep them shiney and not mess up the coating on them. As far as I can tell thus far its not a clear coat on them but something else.

    Thanks for the help.

It`s probably just a clear coat. Anything made for automotive paint/clear will work just fine.
