I know that on the Collinite 885 can it states, "For Marine & Aeronautical Finishes", but with fk1000p having a higher melting point of 250 degrees, which do you guys think would be best on jet skis`s? FWIW one of the ski`s is black.

I always wonder about this scenario. What surfaces do you intend to wax?
My $.02: I don`t think I`d want to wax a surface that is stepped on as it would make it very slippery when wet and create a safety issue. People used to say that waxing the surfaces in the water can cause all sorts of drag and actually slow the craft. I don`t know if that concern is valid.
I kind of think about all of this in terms of applying dressing to motorcycle seats and motorcycle tire sidewalls...it could really spoil your day.
I`ve never tried either but I`d venture to say that either one would work just fine. They`re both said to be durable products as well.

885 is very durable, you`ll be just fine with that.
