Hey all, I was looking for advice on what is best to restore scratched up fenders on a Polaris ATV. It`s basically "Arizona pinstriping" caused by riding on trails with brush along the sides. It`s not really deep, but at least one of our ATV`s is on the market and we would like it to look good for the potential buyer. Thanks in advance!

I have not tried this but have heard from a good amount of people that it works really well.

Great thanks. That looks very close to a kit I saw Polaris selling for about half the price, so may have to give that a try. Hopefully I can find a distributor relatively close so that I don`t have to pay for shipping and wait for it to get here.

Will do. I checked out the motorsports dealers that I frequent with no success. As it is, we are probably going to drop the price for them to have work done mechanically, so I`ll see if I am even going to bother going beyond a simple wash for it at this point now.

I wonder what kind of results you could get if you wetsanded the plastics all the way up to say 3000 grit and then polished them out.

I used to work at a pawn shop back in the day....we had an old guy working there that tuned up our small engine stuff. He actually "shaved" the plastic down with a razor blade....It was crazy how good it looked....but it took him forever.
